The Next Generation Creative Writing Contest, sponsored by University of the Cumberlands’ English Department and its literary journal Pensworth, judges submissions of original fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry from currently enrolled eighth through twelfth grade students, who attend school within a 200 mile radius of Williamsburg, Kentucky.
